Accomack County has commissioned LPC to complete a Conditions Assessment on the 1887 Accomack County Clerk of Court office, located in Accomac, Virginia. A plaque on the interior states that the building was “reconstructed” in 1968, in conjunction with the construction of a large rear addition. The conditions assessment will cover both the original aspects, and the 1968 addition and alterations of the building. Consulting services will include: archival research, document the building’s current exterior and interior conditions, identify building deficiencies and to make recommendations for future rehabilitation treatment of the building. The report will also create a phased prioritization schedule and create a capital budget to assist in long-term planning.
