BELLAIRE COURT
The owners and developers of The Bellaire have commissioned LPC to conduct preservation consulting services for the rehabilitation of the circa 1936 Bellaire Court located along Park Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Preservation consulting services include: consultation with the owners and architect, archival research, preparation of grant applications as well as state and federal preservation tax credit applications.
The Bellaire Court Historic District was previously nominated to the National Register of Historic Places under Criteria A and C with local significance as an important contributing asset to highway and transportation-related architecture in Arkansas between the years 1910-1965. Bellaire Court is one of the finest extant examples of a Craftsman style tourist court on Park Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The district consists of two buildings, the larger of which contains the owner's residence and office, which is attached to five connected guest units. The smaller building contains three guest units that face Magnolia Street.
